Posted 20 Oct 2024: At its October meeting, putting its motto “Here for Good” into practice, the Weston County Democratic Party presented a cash donation to Cheryl Foelkner, Director of the Upton Community Food Bank. Attorney William Curley also met with the group to discuss the County Commission’s declaration of legislative vacancies and its receipt of nominations from the Weston County Republican Party to fill those vacancies.

Posted 22 Sep 2024: Weston County Democrats staffed tables at the Car Show in Dow Park on Saturday, 21 September. We made available helpful information and voter registration forms for show attendees. Also on offer was a fun raffle for some really cool items.

The Guide includes good information on U.S. Senate and House candidates Scott Morrow and Kyle Cameron. (There is nothing on Republicans Barrasso or Hageman since neither responded to WyoFile’s questionnaire.)

Posted 10 Aug 2023: According to ballotpedia.org, Wyoming remains one of only eight states that still do not provide online voter registration, while NPR cites this lack as one of the factors alienating younger citizens from the democratic voting process.
